Carmem Miranda
Portuguese by birth, Carmen Miranda was created in Lapa Rio, who in the 1910s and 1920s was a melting pot of artists, grifters and people of all kinds. Assimilating aesthetics,language and the new sounds of the place and time, learned the slang and the wheelsbohemian, her favorites, and created a character that would be a representation of

In 1918 at the height of his success, he opened his own film company, and from theremade his own screenplays and directed films. From 1926 to 1950, the American Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel British formed the most famous movie comedy duo: Laurel and Hardy. Oliver Norvell Hardy Jr., age 8, was alreadya professional singer.
